Origin:

The extraordinary history of Mhamó begins with Abraham Corcoran’s grandmother, a woman of remarkable courage and strength. Legend has it that she once fought off a shark with a piece of driftwood, using it to beat the life out of the predator after it grabbed her leg. Despite losing her injured leg in the encounter, she emerged victorious and had the driftwood fashioned into a sheleighly, which she used as a peg leg thereafter.

Before her passing, Abraham’s grandmother bequeathed him the sheleighly and the green gem embedded within it, along with a solemn oath to uphold honesty and integrity. It is believed that her strong spirit and will imbued the weapon with its unique abilities, allowing it to communicate with Abraham and serve as a symbol of her legacy.
