Judge Mercier, in a last-ditch attempt to flee, shoved papers off his bench and bolted. Spacedawg was quicker. With a swift move, he tripped the judge, who fell with a thud, and swiftly cuffed him amidst gasps from the audience.
The next judge on their list was found on the greens of an elite golf club. Judge Bernard Lavoie was taking a swing when Lachapelle and Spacedawg approached, the warrant ready. His reaction was theatrical, filled with bluster and threats.
“You can’t do this! I’ll have your badges for this!” Judge Lavoie yelled, swinging his golf club in the air dramatically.
Lachapelle, unphased, held up the warrant. “We can, and we are. Please, Judge Lavoie, let’s do this peacefully.”
