Born in the bustling Yellowknife System, Nora was raised by parents who were well-loved bartenders in their local.... They met her early in the morning, just before she started her daily workout routine. Nora’s dedication to fitness was evident as she pushed through her regimen with determination.
After her workout, she joined the crew for breakfast in the mess hall, sharing some light-hearted banter with her colleagues. Once breakfast was over, Nora headed to the Engineering department to begin her shift.
In the Engineering department, Nora meticulously went through her daily checklist, performing general maintenance and tweaking various systems along the way. “Routine checks are crucial,” she explained. “It’s how we ensure everything runs smoothly.”

A member of the humanoid species with a deep connection to nature, she embodies the physical and spiritual traits of her heritage. Maelstrom’s life took a significant turn when she relocated to the bustling... often took walks through the entire ship, inspecting areas the internal sensors might miss. “Sometimes people need things fixed in their quarters, or someone messes with the controls on the Simulator or the android chef,” she said, recalling a recent incident.
“Last time someone tampered with the android chef, Captain Spacedawg made dinner for everyone and then made all the junior officers and crew clean up and do the dishes,” she recounted with a chuckle. “He used every pot, pan, and spoon just to make sure it was a thorough lesson.”
The Captain’s stern but fair approach left a lasting impression. “The Captain is everything you’d want in a commanding officer. I can’t imagine ever having anyone but Spacedawg as Captain,” Nora stated proudly.
Reflecting on the differences between the old and new ships, she added, “The first Mandoleer’s Folly was cramped compared to the Mark II. She’s a joy to work on and an honor to serve.”
