The Emperor, who was notably the first Canis Emperor born on Earth, greeted Spacedawg with a hearty laugh, while Empress Deirdre broke tradition by kissing Spacedawg on the cheek, welcoming him warmly into the family.
“I hope my eldest daughter and you will be worthy of the Imperial throne,” Empress Deirdre said, much to Spacedawg’s surprise. She explained that Dagbjort’s role as Minister of Interplanetary Relations would serve as excellent preparation for her potential future as Empress.

In a quieter moment, Spacedawg found solace on the balcony, where he shared a joint with Emperor Magnus. The Emperor praised the quality of the cannabis, credited to Spacedawg’s friend Henry Weedmonger, and suggested they discuss trade relations as Spacedawg’s first official act as Prince.
“It rivals some of the best weed in the Canis Empire,” Magnus remarked, adding that Spacedawg’s new role would require some adjustment but promising support and guidance.
